Abstract
There have been reported a large number of papers on drowning with regard to the diagnosis, among the these it is rare about the determination of drowned place of drowning case. In order to shed a light on the possibility of the determination of drowned place by comparison between the plancton distribution of each layers (surface, middle, bottom and mixed) contrast waters and lung¢¥s planctons distribution of drowned experimental animals, the author examined using 60 rats and has conducted a series experiments such as the experimental animals were classified into the groups of rapid drowning, delayed drowning and postmortem. groups and at the experimental animals were examined each layers of the waters and the planctons were detected in the lungs, heart, liver, spleen, kidneys, brain and muscles by dysorganization method and the results were obtained as follows.
1) It was agreed with the plancton distribution ratio of the each layers contrast waters and the lung¢¥s of drowned (rapid and delayed) experimental animals.
2) There were different pictures between the plancton distribution ratio of each layers contrast waters and various organ¢¥s except lungs of drowned experimental animals.
3) There were different pictures between the planctons distribution ratio of each layers contrast waters and the lung¢¥s of postmortem group.
4) The plancton was defected in the various organs except lungs of the postmortem group.
5) The above findings on plancton distribution ratio between the contrast waters and the lung¢¥s of various experimental animals are believed eventually to contribute the determination
of drowned places of the drowning cases.
